The Scalf Cemetery is located on Smallings Road, half-way between the Watauga River and Watauga Road on the north side of the road in Carter County, Tennessee.

A list of the Scalf family members known to be buried in this cemetery was copied from the cemetery records from the Kingsport Public Library in 1987. It should be noted that these records were compiled by volunteers who undertook the task of walking the cemeteries of the surrounding counties in order to compile records of our local cemeteries. Having done this myself, I know what a difficult task this can often be. We owe them our appreciation for their efforts to provide us listings of the graves of our families in this area.

As with any transcribed record, it should be remembered there are possibly errors. The following list was copied from the original records and this is a transcribed copy of that list. I have taken the liberty to figure the ages of these folks at their death. Other than this, there are no other changes made to this list.
