Linda Wallace Wilson Helphinstine, 62, of Maysville, KY passed away Monday, April 28, 2014 at UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY. Linda was born in Pineville, KY to Wallace and Lena Wilson and on September 24, 1951. The family moved to Brooksville, KY in 1961. Linda attended Bracken County Schools, graduating in 1969. Upon graduation, Linda attended secretarial school. She worked at Browning Manufacturing in Maysville, KY as a team leader in customer service until her retirement. Linda is preceded in death by her father, Wallace Wilson and her sister Vickie Lou Wilson. Linda is survived by her son, Bryan Dale Helphinstine, granddaughter Sydney Helphinstine, significant other, John Olsen, all of Maysville, KY, mother, Lena Wilson, sisters Judith Wilson Toomey, Paula Jo Wilson, a brother, William Wilson, all of Brooksville, KY, and numerous family members and friends. Linda loved her family and friends, “the hunt” of yard sales, trading on eBay, and watching movies, but her greatest pride and joy was her granddaughter, Sydney. Visitation will be held at Moore and Parker Funeral Home in Brooksville, KY on Friday, May 2, 2014 during the hours and 5 and 8 PM. Funeral services will be held at Moore and Parker Funeral Home on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army. William "Willie" Edison Wilson, 61, entered into the joy of his Lord Thursday, January 17, 2019. He was born on September 11, 1957 in Pineville, Kentucky to Lena Mills Wilson, and the late Wallace Authur Wilson. Willie gave his life to Jesus Christ in his bedroom in Brooksville, Kentucky on Mother's Day 1986 and afterward traveled to Chicago with Moody Bible Institute. In 1988, he met Carol Dickson and the two married on February 4, 1989 and together had three wonderful children. He was a founding member of the church House of Transformation in Maysville, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Vicky Lou Wilson and Linda Wilson Helphinstine. William is survived by his mother Lena Wilson of Brooksville, Ky, sister’s Judy Wilson Toomey, and Paula Wilson of Brooksville, Ky, his wife Carol Dickson Wilson of Germantown, Ky, his daughters Sarah (Wesley) Rose and Rachel Wilson of Germantown, Ky, his son John Wesley Wilson of Louisville, Ky. He is also survived by his two precious grandchildren Aubrey Ann Ross and Lukas Edison Rose and his two loving nephews, Corey Toomey and Jordan Mason of Denver, CO. The visitation will be at the Moore and Parker Funeral Home in Brooksville, Ky on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 5pm to 8pm. The funeral will be officiated by his good friend Pastor David Collins on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 1pm and will be followed by his burial at the Brooksville Cemetery.
